These threats came after Assad terrorists backed with Shiite mercenaries clashed on Tuesday with opposition fighters in the town of al-Neeaimeh in the neighboring area.
“Assad regime aims in these threats at making life more difficult in the town of Mehajjeh to oblige its people to kneel in a Darayya-like scenario,” one of the locals told Orient Net on condition of anonymity.
Separately, many opposition fighting groups announced establishing a united operation military room in Daraa to coordinate efforts to put an end to Assad regime and its allied militias’ threats to their towns and cities.
Meanwhile, fighters in the brigade of Saif al-Janoob (The Sword of the South) said that they raised their combat readiness to defend their fellow Syrians. They also announced their readiness to merge into any opposition group for the sake of achieving the goals and aspirations of the Syrian Revolution.
It is worthy to mention that residents of Mehajjeh have appealed to opposition fighters in Daraa for urgent help before the bad Darayya-scenario takes place in their town.
