Opposition fighters’ factions were able on Wednesday to repel Assad terrorists’ and Iranian mercenaries’ attempts of advancing on Sheikh Saeed neighborhood in eastern Aleppo, Orient News correspondent reported.

35 of the Iranian mercenaries were killed and a number of others were injured as opposition fighters restored control over the positions which the mercenaries previously took in Sheikh Saeed neighborhood, Captain Abdulsalam Abdulrazzaq, the military spokesperson of Nour al-Din al-Zenki movement told Orient Net.

Cpt. Abdulrazzaq added that opposition fighters were able to capture 4 Shiite mercenaries, who were mostly Afghanis.

Also, a source in Ahrar al-Sham negated earlier on Wednesday that Assad terrorists and Iranian mercenaries have controlled Sheikh Saeed neighborhood in eastern Aleppo.

These developments come as thousands of civilians flee their homes in eastern Aleppo after Assad terrorists and the Iranian militias advanced in the northern parts of the besieged eastern Aleppo.
