Hunger-striking prisoners.. but no one cares
Shafan Ibrahim writes in Orient Net Arabic that the local Kurdish councils ended their hunger strike that aimed at condemning the detentions carried out by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the self-management. None of the latter, however, cared about the strike although many strikers were in an extremely bad health.

The writer points out that strike and detention made it clear that the Kurds today entered the stage of eliminating the other.

The Kurdish peculiarity and identity in Syria crystalized before the PYD came to power, the writer argues and adds that Kurdish- Kurdish rapprochement seems to vanish apart from the US project in the Kurdish area and the way it obliges the PYD to work together with the Kurdish council and apart from Masoud Barzani, President of Kurdistan Region, initiative that called for holding a fifth meeting of the political powers according to a meeting pattern fluctuating between a new truce or a real agreement which will determine the Kurds situation within the Syria political map.

The writer concludes by stating that the Kurdish question that remains is who is wronged and who is practicing violence and who is scared of the other? Ibrahim believes that the continuation of violence will destroy the power.
