Opposition launches Operation Euphrates Shield against ISIS in Jarablus
Factions in the Free Syrian Army (FSA) launched on Wednesday the first phase of Operation Euphrates Shield aimed at liberating the city of Jarablus in Aleppo eastern countryside, supported by Turkish infantry troops and jet fighters of the U.S.-led coalition.

Storming companies in the FSA are heading towards positions to start the first phase in the operation aimed at liberating Jarablus, according to the media office of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement.

Special sources confirmed to Orient Net that factions of FSA moved from the Turkish side to the Syrian side in the surroundings of Jarablus city.

In the initial developments, opposition fighters were able to control the village of Kaklijah in the surroundings of Jarablus city.

It is worthy to mention that the factions of Sultan Murad Brigade, Mountain Falcons Brigade, al-Jabha al-Shamia, al-Hamza Division, Nour al-Din al-Zenki, Fastaqem, and al-Sham Corps from FSA are participating in the operation to liberate Jarablus city from ISIS.
