Assad terrorists, along with Hezbollah terrorists, burnt on Friday the farmlands located in Madaya and al-Zabadani plateaus in Damascus western countryside, Orient News correspondent reported.

"Burning these farmlands comes as another step to tighten the siege on the civilians in Madaya," Orient News correspondent reported one of the town’s residents as saying.

Assad terrorists and allied Hezbollah terrorists have been tightly besieging Madaya for almost a year. Residents in the town have been suffering from dire living conditions, and the siege took its toll on every aspect of their lives.

It is worth mentioning that after many calls from international humanitarian organizations, UN delivered food and medical aid to Madaya two months ago. However, medical and humanitarian committees in the town sound the alarm that an imminent humanitarian crisis is about to take place again, if the siege is not lifted.
