The Iranian camel which found out its own hump

The Iranian camel which found out its own hump
The Iranian TV Channel Al-Alam says that Iran won’t allow Turkey and Saudi Arabia to exacerbate Syria situation describing the statements of Brigadier General Ahamd Asiri as test balloons to measure Iran’s steadfast attitude.

In this context the Channel’s website published an article on Wednesday depicting the Saudi plan to send troops to Syria as a camel which went far in Levant’s desert.

The Channel mocks the trip of the King of Bahrain to Moscow (ironically Moscow is Iran’s closest ally in the Syrian conflict) by saying that King Hamad Bin Issa went to Moscow carrying a Saudi message which Putin replied to by giving the King of Bahrain an Arabic horse which is older than the Syrian crisis. The article’s writer considers exchanging presents between Bin Issa and Putin as a way of setting reminders but not souvenirs.

Th Iranian TV Channel, known for its explicit support of Assad regime, goes on in its metaphoric debate about the Saudi adventure in Syria that will end in a big loss for the Kingdom given that Saudi soldiers will be fighting outside their land while thousands of Iranian sectarian militias are fighting inside their own land!!

The Channel’s debate looks oblivious to the Iranian and other Shiite presence in Syria which are fighting the very people in Syria in their own land.

However, the more Al-Alam goes on, the weaker it looks while making up pretexts for the Iranian intervention which resulted in hundreds of wooden boxes that their ally Walid Muallem has threatened to send to Saudi Arabia while the fact is hundreds of wooden boxes are being sent not to Riyadh but to Tehran.  More lies and paradoxes surfaced as the Channel claims that Saudi Arabia is backing Daesh which in return attacks Assad regime and Iran.

The undeniable truth that has become crystal clear for all observers that Daesh is Iranian - Assad made product which hasn’t ever attacked any Iranian interests since its emergence in Iraq and Syria.

However, the Iranian Channel which sheds crocodile tears over the Saudi people whose government has decided to take them outside their borders dragging them to the desert of Syria should remember the poor Iranian families who have been deceived by telling them that their sons have gone to protect the holy shrines in Syria while in fact they were moved to Syria to be killed while defending the Assad regime and Khamenei’s ambitions in restoring the false glories of Great Persia.

Interestingly, the debate of the Iranian Channel which likened the Saudi imminent intervention in Syria to a camel which has gone astray in the desert reminds us of a famous Arabic proverb which speaks about a camel which found out about its own hump for the first time to fell on its neck as a result.
