UN warns of crisis as Assad terrorists squeeze Aleppo
The United Nations warned Tuesday that if Assad regime and his allied militias succeed in encircling the strategic city of Aleppo, up to 300,000 people could be cut off from humanitarian aid, The News Tribune reported.

In an assessment of the situation in Aleppo, the U.N. said the Aleppo offensive had already cut opposition supply lines between the eastern part of the city and Bab al-Salam crossing on the Turkish border.

Further advances into the city could send another 100,000 to 150,000 civilians fleeing Aleppo, Voices of America reported.

Jakob Kern, World Food Program director said Tuesday they were distributing urgently needed meals to 21,000 people who fled Aleppo to Azaz, just south of the Turkish border,  “the situation in Aleppo is quite volatile and fluid," he added
