21 shepherds killed in knife attack in Syria’s Raqqa

A group of Armed men committed massacre in Raqqa countryside on Sunday (January 5), local media reported.
Suspected Iranian militias slaughtered 21 shepherds in the Syrian desert near Maadan town in Raqqa countryside, Euphrates Post and Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reported.
The knife-attack victims were living in a desert area controlled by Assad, Iranian and Iranian backed militias.
Activists and local media said the massacre is in retaliation for the death of the head of the Quds Force militia Qassem Soleimani.
The United States killed Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani, architect of Iranian regime’s spreading military influence in the Middle East, in an air strike on Friday (January 3) at Baghdad airport.
