Iranian regime militias confronted demonstrators in multiple cities in Iran on Wednesday night, as demonstrations began in Tehran and other cities around the country.

Iranian regime bolstered security forces and began shutting off Internet access in some areas in preparation for expected protests, according to Iranian media.

Large number of Iranian regime militia forces and police were seen on public square ready to crackdown on pre-planned protests, Iran Wire tweeted.

About 1,500 people were killed during less than two weeks of unrest that started on Nov. 15. The toll, provided to Reuters by three Iranian interior ministry officials, included at least 17 teenagers and about 400 women as well as some Iranian regime's militiamen.
