Civilians killed as Assad-Russian warplanes violate ceasefire in Idlib countryside

Assad-Russian warplanes intensified bombardment on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Monday (November 4), killing and injuring civilians, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondent said.

The warplanes targeted on Monday morning a school in Jisr al-Sheghoor and civilian homes in several villages and towns, including al-Kafir and Kafrnabel, killing three civilians of the same family, including two children and injuring at least four others, including women and children.

Meanwhile, Assad artillery shells and rockets also targeted several villages and towns in Idlib countryside with dozens of shells, causing material damage.

On Saturday, Russian warplanes targeted civilian homes in Jbala village and Hazarin town, killing five men and injuring a woman.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
