Fresh Russian attacks reported on Idlib after killing 5 on Saturday

Russian warplanes conducted multiple airstrikes on Idlib countryside on Sunday (Nov 3) while Assad militiamen fired artillery shells on the scenes of the targeted civilian areas.

"The sound of the rockets is extremely high we don't know what the type of the rockets is," Orient News' Jamil al-Hasan said.

At least 5 people were killed by Russian aerial attacks on Saturday in Jabala and Hazarin towns while a sixth civilian succumbed to his wounds after he was severely injured by an airstrike on the 31st of October.

Russian warplanes seem to have resumed killing civilians in Idlib after pausing the airstrikes since the end of August following a ceasefire reached with the Turkish government.

Assad militias and their allies killed, injured and displaced hundreds of thousands of Syrians in Idlib and Hama countryside in their last bombing campaign which mainly started in the end of March and was ordered to be halted by Russia in the end of August 2019.
