Idlib's Barisha reportedly place of ISIS leader's death

US warplanes took off in the early hours of Sunday (Oct 27) from Incirlik airbase in Turkey and bombed a civilian area in Idlib countryside, using machine guns, Orient News learnt from local sources.

The targeted area was reportedly the place where ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed.

Anti-air defecnes fires on the helicopters.

Macro Media Centre, a well-known Idlib website, reported the airstrikes, adding the nature of the operation is unknown.

The US is reported to have carried out an operation targeting the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Sunday, a US official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.
