Assad regime's militias intensified shelling on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Tuesday (October 22), causing material damage, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondent said.
Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted on Tuesday morning several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Maaret Hurmah, Kafrsijnah and Heish with more than 200 shells, causing substantial material damage.
Yesterday, Assad artillery shells targeted Kafrsijnah town, killing a civilian.
On Saturday, Russian warplanes targeted a civilian home in the surrounding of Taftanaz town, killing at least a man and a woman and injuring other civilians, including children.
Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
