Civilians killed as Russian warplanes bomb Idlib despite claimed ceasefire
Russian warplanes intensified bombardment on Saturday (October 19) on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondent said.

The warplanes targeted a civilian home in the surrounding of Taftanaz town, killing at least a man and a woman and injuring other civilians, including civilians, including children.

Meanwhile, the warplanes bombed Taftanaz Military Airbase, Maarzita village and Hizareen town with more than 30 airstrikes.

On Monday, Assad artillery shells targeted al-Bara city in Idlib countryside, killing Muhammad Mousa, 3, and his mother Intisar al-Kaddour and injuring other civilians.

Last Saturday, Assad artillery shells targeted on Kafr Ruma in Idlib countryside, killing Yacoub Yousef al-Shahada,13, and injuring other civilians.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
