Assad regime continues ceasefire violations in Idlib countryside
Assad regime's militias shelled the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Saturday (September 28), causing material damage, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells targeted on Saturday morning civilian homes in several villages and towns, including Maaret Hurmah and Hazarin, causing material damage.

Meanwhile, Assad helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the Kabina Hill in the Akrad Mountain in Latakia northern countryside.

Yesterday, Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes in several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Maaret Hurmah, Kansafra, Sheikh Mustafa and al-Naqeer in Idlib countryside with 100 shells, causing material damage.

On Sunday, Assad artillery shells targeted Kafr Oweid village, killing a civilian and injuring three others, including a child and a woman.

In May, Assad militiamen used the chlorine gas shells in the Kabina Hill after they failed to make any progress on the front.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
