13 civilians killed, 6 children included, by new Assad massacre in Maaret al-Numan

At least 13 civilians, including 6 children were killed and more than 34 others were injured on Wednesday (August 28) after Assad warplanes bombed the city of Maaret al-Numan in Idlib southern province, Orient News correspondent said.  

The White Helmets posted pictures from the scene of the attack, confirming that the Assad warplanes conducted follow-up airstrikes to kill as many as possible of civilians.



The total Wednesday number of the victims rose to 18 civilians; 2 in Masaran, 1 in Tamana, 1 in Jarjazaz, 13 in Maaret al-Numan and 1 in Maarsemseh.

More than three million Syrians live in Idlib after hundreds of thousands of Syrians were displaced from other parts of the country by the regime advances in other parts of the country.
