Assad helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in Idlib countryside on the early hours of Friday (August 23), killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondent said.

The barrel bombs targeted civilian homes in Maarat al-Numan city, killing three civilians, including a woman and injuring others.

On Thursday, Assad-Russian warplanes bombed civilian homes in several villages, towns and cities in Idlib countryside, injuring 11 civilians.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
