Assad militiamen shell Hama northern countryside

Assad militiamen heavily shelled farmlands in the town of Latamneh on Saturday (August 3) in Hama northern countryside, Orient News correspondent said. 

Mahmood Alhamwi, a well-known media man, posted pictures on his YouTube channel showing the moments of targetting the farms in the town.

Hama northern countryside is within the de-escalation zone reached by Russia and Turkey last September.

A ceasefire started on Thursday (August 1) night to fulfill a Russian-Turkish deal which tried last year to create a demilitarized buffer zone.
