Bombing campaign kills, injures civilians in Idlib, Hama provinces

Russian warplanes continue their bombing campaign on Idlib and Hama provinces which started late of April, killing and injuring civilians and destroying civilians' homes.

Three people were killed on Tuesday (July 2) in Khan Sheikhoun and Maaretherma, while dozens were injured after the air attacks hit Idlib countryside, Orient News correspondent said.

The air attacks also hit Jabel al-Arbin and Kafr Sejneh where White Helmets volunteers rushed to rescue civilians in the aftermath of the airstrikes despite the strong likelihood of being hit by the Russian follow-up raids.

In Hama northern countryside, many civilians were injured by the similar Assad-Russian airstrikes that hit the cities of Latamenh and Kafr Zeita.

More than 550 civilians have been killed and dozens of hundreds injured in Idlib and Hama provinces despite the de-escalation zone deal reached by Russia and Turkey last September. The deal was renewed by the two guarantor Syria states on the twelfth of June.
