An explosion ripped through the city of Afrin in the north of Syria on Thursday (June 20), killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondent said.
An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on Thursday morning in a car in villas street in Afrin city, injuring the driver and killing another civilian.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
Afrin is under the control of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) backed by the Turkish military. Earlier, it was controlled by PKK-affiliated SDF/YPG militias.
