Two members of Assad reconciliation militias were killed and two others were wounded on Tuesday (June 11) in an attack carried out by unknown gunmen on the checkpoint of the "Fourth Division" in Daraa countryside, sources confirmed to Orient News.
One of these attacks took place at the Assad checkpoint of "Awja" near the Zizun camp, killing one militia member and injuring 2 others, while the other happened at one Assad checkpoint in the city of Tafas in the Daraa countryside, claiming of the other militia member.
Multiple attacks have been conducted against Assad checkpoints near the city of Daraa where various weapons, including light and medium weapons and RPGs have been used.
Daraa is located in the south of Syria; Assad regime took control of the city and its countryside after reaching "reconciliation" deals with locals and mediators last summer.
