Free Syrian Army (FSA) factions have repelled incursion attempt by Assad militias in the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in Aleppo southern countryside.
Orient correspondent said that the opposition factions thwarted on Sunday (May 12) regime’s incursion attempts near khalsa battlefront.
Confrontations were accompanied by intensified shelling by Assad militias.
On Saturday, Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes in Kafr Hamrah village in Aleppo countryside, killing a civilian and injuring other civilians.
Opposition factions have controlled the strategic Khalsa village since 2017 after fierce confrontations with Assad militias.
