Two civilians were killed on Monday (April 1) by a landmine explosion as they were collecting mushrooms (Kama) in Deir-ez-Zor desert.
Local sources said that the two civilians lost their lives as they stepped on a landmine in the desert, the victims came from al-Jebbah village in Damascus countryside.
Last month, 16 people lost their lives as they drove over a landmine in the Shawla desert in Deir-ez-Zor.
The harvest of Kama mushroom grows if lightning storms take place in the open fields of Deir-ez-Zor and the Syrian Desert.
