Houses destroyed by flood in Hasaka
Dozens of houses have been destroyed by the flood that battered the city of Hasaka in the north of Syria, local sources said.

At least one hundred houses were destroyed in the villages of al-Hanwa al-Kabira and al-Wawiya in Hasaka northern countryside after the waters in the Al-Mukhben River flooded by the heavy downpour of rain, The Euphrates Post Facebook page reported.

Footage posted online by local websites showed the waters in the streets of a civilian neighbourhood while it was heavily raining.

No causalities have been reported.

Hasaka is controlled by PKK-SDF-YPG militias. Assad regime has extremely insignificant presence for its security positions in the Kurdish-controlled city.
