Assad militiamen shelled on Tuesday (March 19) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Hama countryside, killing a civilian and causing material damage, Orient correspondents said.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted civilian homes in al-Huwayz village in Hama countryside, killing a civilian, Orient correspondent added.

Last Wednesday, Russian airstrikes, and Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted civilian homes in Idlib, killing 17 civilians, including seven children and three women and injuring 50 others, including women and children. 

Idlib and Hama countryside are within the de-escalation zones reached on Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
