A group of Assad regime's militiamen was killed in Hama countryside on Monday (March 11), Orient correspondent said.
HTS members infiltrated into the Assad regime's locations in Shaizar town in Hama countryside, killing five Assad militiamen, including a lieutenant, Orient correspondent added.
Pro-Assad social media accounts confirmed the death of lieutenant Sinan Mohammed, saying he is from Jableh city.
Last Friday, a number of Assad militiamen were killed after they stepped in an opposition’s minefield during their incursion attempt near al- Sirmaniyah village in the de-escalation zone in Hama countryside.
Earlier this month, 18 Assad militia men were killed, including officers near the front of al-Masaseneh.
Assad and Iranian militias continuously target opposition-held areas in Hama countryside, causing civilian causalities.
