The opposition Ministry of Education has suspended work in a number of schools in Hama countryside, due to the nonstop Assad shelling on them, Orient News correspondent reported on Tuesday (February 26).
Thousands of students in Hama countryside will not receive education on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the intensive bombardment by the Assad militiamen and their allies, Orient correspondent added.
Yesterday, Assad warplanes, artillery shells and rockets targeted civilian homes in several villages and towns in Hama countryside, killing four civilians, including two children and a woman and injuring other civilians, including children.
Hama countryside is within the de-escalation zones reached in Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
