Assad regime injures civilians in Idlib countryside

The Assad regime’s militias shelled the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Friday (Feb. 8), injuring civilians and causing substantial material damage, Orient correspondent said.  

Assad regime’s cluster rockets shelled on Friday civilian homes in Tell Mannas village in Idlib countryside, injuring two civilians, Orient correspondent added.  

Meanwhile, Assad regime’s cluster rockets shelled Maar Shamarin village and Babuline village, causing substantial material damage.  

A de-escalation zone deal on Idlib was reached by the Russian and the Turkish presidents last September to halt the Assad regime and its allies’ attacks on the northern Syrian city and its countryside.
