Local sources said on Monday (February 4) that a number of the PKK-affiliated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were killed after an ISIS cell members infiltrated into their location in Deir ez-Zoor eastern countryside.
Euphrates Post news network said that the eleven members were killed in unknown circumstances in a water station in the town of al-Tayana.
The Shark News network confirmed that the operation was conducted by ISIS sleeper cells because one SDF member escaped as he was hiding above the water reservoir in the building and he was not seen by ISIS terrorists.
This operation comes after SDF military leader was killed by Improvise Explosive Devise in southern of Hasaka, a number of his bodyguards were injured.
Dozens of ISIS terrorists and their families surrendered to SDF in the last weeks, according to pictures and videos published by France 24 TV channel.
