Explosions in Aleppo eastern countryside kill 3

A series of explosions took place in in Aleppo eastern countryside on Thursday (January 24), killing and injuring civilians, Orient News correspondent said.

Three civilians were killed in the city of al-Bab and the town of Qabasin, while three people were injured in the town of al-Ghandora.

The al-Bab's explosion was caused by an IED which ripped through a busy neighbourhood where there are restaurants and an entertainment park.

The Qabasin and al-Ghandora explosions were caused by motorbikes.

Al-Bab is the largest city in Aleppo eastern countryside, its people were among the first Syrians who took to the streets against Bashar Assad regime in March 2011. It bore the brunt of Assad regime's barrel bombs before ISIS terrorists took control of it in 2014. in February 2017, the Free Syrian Army backed by the Turkish Military recaptured al-Bab after killing or neutralizing ISIS terrorists.
