ISIS attacks SDF in Raqqa
ISIS claimed one of its suicide bombers killed SDF militiamen on Monday (Jan. 7) at a military base in Raqqa city in Syria.

ISIS claimed responsibility came in a statement by the affiliated Amaq news agency. It said the attack targeted a recruitment center in Raqqa and that 17 people were killed or wounded.

Amaq added the bomber had first used his machine gun then detonated his vest.

Raqqa is controlled by the PKK-affiliated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) after they drove out the ISIS militiamen backed by the US-led coalition.
