On the 1st day of 2019, 3 Syrian children die of cold, lack of food

Three children died on Tuesday (Dec.1) in Hasaka and Deir-ez-Zor provinces in eastern Syria due to the cold weather, lack of food and health care, local social media reported.

Aisha Ramadan died in al-Hawl camp in Hasaka southern countryside due to the cold weather and the lack of food and health care, DeirEzzor24 reported.

A 7-month-old baby, Raeda al-Tibi died in al-Sousa village in Deir-ez-Zor countryside due to the lack of food and health care, DeirEzzor24 added.

Mosab al-Greir died in al-Shaafah town in Deir-ez-Zor countryside due to lack of food and health care, Euphrates Post reported.

Last week, a newborn girl died hours after her birth due to the lack of heating materials in a camp near Hizano village in Idlib countryside.

During the second half of 2018,  several children the al-Rukban camp on the Syrian-Jordanian border due to the lack of baby formula, health care and medical supplies.
