On Sunday night, Russian occupation forces launched ballistic missile with cluster ammunition on Baksariya village in Jisr al-Shughour in Idlib countryside, injuring a child, and causing substantial material damage.

A de-escalation zone deal on Idlib was reached by the Russian and the Turkish presidents last September to halt the Assad regime and its allies’ attacks on the northern Syrian city and its countryside.

Idlib is the biggest part of Syria held by opposition fighters, with a population swollen by Syrians who were displaced, following the Assad regime and its allies’ control over other parts of the country.
