ISIS ambushes PKK-affiliated YPG group in Deir ez-Zoor's Hejin
ISIS terrorists ambushed a group of the PKK-affiliated PYD militia in the city of Hejin in Deir ez-Zoor countryside after the latter claimed that its militiamen captured most of its neighbourhoods of that city, local sources told Orient News. 

The extremist organization members are still positioned in four neighbourhoods of the Hajin city where they dug tunnels to move under the ground.

The ready-to-die ISIS attackers launched an offensive on the PYD militiamen on Saturday (December the 15th), using the tunnels. 

Five YPG militiamen were killed and two were captured.  Local sources reported that the two captives, Hamood al-Mohammad and Sa'ad al-Ma'yat, were still alive.

 On Saturday, seven PYD militiamen were buried in the city of al-Besirah to Deir ez-Zoor eastern countryside. They were killed by ISIS militants during the battles of Deir ez-Zoor countryside.

The PYG announced three months ago launching a major offensive on the last strongholds of ISIS in Deir ez-Zoor, backed by the US-led coalition airstrikes.

The PKK-affiliated militia captured Abo Khater and four neighbourhoods of Hejin, while al-Baghoor, Sousa, al-Sha'fa, al-Bo Hasen are in the hands of ISIS extremists ISIS.
