Syrian, Turkish students celebrate new school year in Aleppo countryside
100 Turkish students have celebrated the new school year in Bza’a town in Aleppo countryside.

Two thousand Syrian students from  Bza’a town and the nearby villages attended the ceremony with their fellow Turkish students.

The festival included games, distributing gifts to students, face painting, and circus shows.

"We aim at the festival to draw a smile on the children’s faces, and to help them forget the sorrows of war," a Turkish volunteer told Orient.

The activity is a part of a large project called "Festival without Border" organized by the International Refugee Rights Association (UMHD) in cooperation with IHH and the Turkish Ministry of Education.
