Three Russians killed in Syria’s Hama
Three Russian military personnel were killed by Assad militia in Hama province, Observatory 20 told Orient on Monday (Sep. 3).

Fighting with light weapons erupted after the militiamen refused to leave their concentration point in Al-Ghab Plain to be controlled by the Russian and Chechen military forces.

Last month, Russian military police threatened to use force against  the Fourth Division after the latter refused to leave their checkpoints in Al-Suqaylabiyah in Hama countryside.

The death toll of Russian soldiers killed in Syria has reached around 100 soldiers since its direct military intervention on Sept. 29, 2015 to bolster Assad regime. However, Russian activists confirm that the death toll of the Russian soldiers is much higher.
