The Assad regime’s militias and their allies launched on Friday (August 10) severe bombing and shelling campaign on opposition-held areas, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

At least 20 civilians were killed and dozens were injured in a Russian massacre when multiple airstrikes targeted Orem al-Qubra town in Aleppo western countryside, Orient correspondent said.

Assad airstrikes killed at least nine civilians and injured forty others in Idlib countryside.

Assad regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on Khan Shaykhun town in Maarrat al-Numan, killing seven civilians and injuring several others including children, Hashem Abdullah said.

Assad barrel bombs killed at least three civilians, and injured many others in Al-Tah village in Maarrat al-Numan.

Assad helicopters also dropped more than 30 barrel bombs on Al-Tamanah town in Maarrat al-Numan, causing severe damage.

The Assad-Russian bombardment campaign, launched yesterday, displaced hundreds of civilians towards agricultural lands.

White Helmets teams posted a video showing how they managed to rescue a child from under the rubble in Orem al-Qubra town.

Idlib and Aleppo western countryside is one of the de-escalation zones reached in Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and Iran.
