Army of Islam announced Thursday 15 regime forces’ members were killed during the ongoing battles in eastern Ghouta in Rural Damascus.Regime forces have tried many times since morning to infiltrate to the Al-Zreqiyah battlefront in eastern Ghouta, according to a statement published on the official accounts of Islam Army on social media websites.
Photos of the killed Assad forces’ members were attached to the statement, confirming that Islam Army counterattacked Assad forces, and its artillery heavily targeted regime’s armored vehicles while approaching the Al-Zreqiyah battlefront and damaged a T72 tank.
On Wednesday, regime’s Lieutenant General, Ibrahim Dabberha, was killed in Harasta city, in Rural Damascus.
Pro-regime social media pages claimed he was killed during battles against rebels, but, activists confirmed he was killed from rebels’ shelling against regime’s positions in the area.
