ISIS shot down a regimes’ aircraft on Sunday in the outskirts of the Bokmal city in the eastern countryside of Dier Ezzor province, according to the Euphrates Post Network.
The Network confirmed that ISIS fighters detained the crew after downing the aircraft near the Al-Baqaan village, while Assad regime media did not mention any details about the accident.
AlSharq News, in turn, said that head of the engineering department in Assad forces’ Battalion 17, brigadier general Bassam Al-Ahmad, was killed during the raging battles in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, while dismantling a landmine laid by ISIS.
