The, FSA affiliated, "Jabal Al-Sheikh" operation room announced that an Assad forces’ helicopter was shot down in western Rural Damascus on Friday.
Orient News’ correspondent confirmed that the helicopter was seen from the Zakiyah town in Western Ghouta crashing near the regiment 137.
The helicopter was targeted with a guided missile, the "Jabal Al-Sheikh" operation room said in a statement on their Telegram channel.
The pro-regime Facebook page, Dimashq Alaan, confirmed that the helicopter was shot down with a missile, west of Kanaker, without any information about the captain.
