Opposition fighters repel Assad terrorists’ attack on Jobar

Opposition fighters on Thursday repelled Assad terrorists’ and allied foreign militias’ attack aimed at regaining control over lost positions in Jobar neighborhood east of the capital Damascus.

Assad terrorists launched a tank-backed attack, with air coverage by Assad jets, trying to recapture the textile factory and the surrounding blocks, but opposition fighters foiled attack, Monther al-Fares, Media Relations Officer in opposition’s Ahrar al-Sham group told SMART new agency.

During clashes with Assad terrorists on Thursday, opposition fighters destroyed seven Assad tanks and killed and injured several militants from Assad terrorists and their backing Shiite foreign militias.
