FSA drives ISIS out of several strategic areas in Syrian Desert
Opposition fighters’ joint operations room, coordinating military operations of a recent offensive in al-Hammad area in the Syrian Desert, declared on Saturday controlling the Research Facility Company, Teiss area and Abu Risha Dam in Sies area, in addition to killing and injuring a number of ISIS terrorists.

Fighters of Ahmad al-Abdo, Osoud al-Sharqiya, Ahrar al-Ash’er and Shuhada al-Qaryatin fighting groups, affiliated with the Free Syria Army (FSA), destroyed five armored vehicle, three of which in Makhoul area and the other two in Teiss area, according to local sources.

Opposition fighters also controlled two truck-mounted anti-aircraft machine guns, the sources added.

Spokesperson of Joint Operations Room, Saad Seif, said that opposition factions captured the strategic Teiss building, Sies Citadel and Scientific Research Company from ISIS terrorists. He also said that the organization suffered heavy losses in lives and ammunition.
