Turkey targets ’SDF’ in Tal Rafa’at, opposition liberates two towns
Turkish military aircraft targeted on Wednesday (March 1) sites of the so-called Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) – the Syrian branch of the Kurdish PKK – in Tel Rafaat town located in the northern countryside of Aleppo, while the Operation Euphrates Shield took control of two villages on the vicinity of al-Bab city.

Kurdish media reported that the Turkish military planes targeted Wednesday afternoon Kurdish militia units located in Tel Rafaat and Meng towns.

SDF had occupied Tel Rafaat, Meng and neighboring towns in the beginning of 2016, at the same time when Assad terrorists captured the towns of Hardntin, Maarsta al-Khan and Mayer.

On the other hand, Free Syrian Army - operating under the Turkish-led Operation Euphrates Shield - managed to liberate the villages of Tel Turin and al-Qarra, located east of al-Bab city following fierce battles with the SDF militia.
