ISIS-linked group occupies more towns near Daraa
Khaled Ibn al-Walid Army, a group linked to ISIS in Yarmouk Basin, seized today in a dawn offensive several towns in Daraa western countryside near the Jordanian border, taking advantage of opposition fighters’ preoccupation with fighting the foreign militias in al-Mensheyya neighborhood in Daraa.

A group from Khaled Ibn al-Walid Army infiltrated the Scientific Research Center in the village of Jilleen. The group seized the whole village after ferocious clashes with the Syrian Free Army (FSA), Orient News correspondent said.

The ISIS affiliate also controlled the town of Muzeraa and the Libyan Company in Daraa western countryside, leaving Hiet town in Yarmouk Basin fully surrounded by ISIS terrorists, our correspondent added.

The attacks of Khaled Ibn al-Walid Army in Daraa western countryside come at a time when the FSA factions are launching an offensive on Assad terrorists’ locations in Daraa.

Last week, the ISIS-linked group seized Tsiel, Tal al-Jumoua and Sahm al-Golan, arresting dozens of civilians in these towns and executing others.

Yarmouk area had witnessed intense clashes between the FSA and Khaled Ibn al-Walid Army for more than 3 months, which led to difficult humanitarian conditions affecting the population of nearly 50,000 people.
