Russian airstrikes kill 11 civilians north of Deir ez-Zor

Russian warplanes has perpetrated a new massacre against civilians in Deir ez-Zor, in eastern Syria, after hitting residential areas in the city, which killed and injured many.

Indiscriminate Russian airstrikes targeted on Tuesday a popular market in al-Soor town in the northern parts of Deir ez-Zor, which killed 11 civilians who charred beyond recognition, while more than 30 were injured, activists said.

Many of the injury cases were rushed to makeshift hospitals in al-Mayadeen and Abu Kamal cities.

The strikes caused damage to a number of cars near the attack site, while many commercial shops were destroyed, according to local sources.

Airstrikes also targeted the neighborhoods of al-Howeiqa, al-Rushdiya, al-Jubeila, and al-Sina’a in Deir ez-Zor city, in addition to Jabal Tharda and the Cinder Blocks Factory.

More, ISIS terror organization targeted Harabesh neighborhood with mortar shells, without any casualties reported, STEP news agency said.
