Assad rockets hit Barzeh, Qaboon amid calls for blood donation
Assad terrorists indiscriminately shelled on Saturday (February 18) many neighborhoods in Damascus with rockets and artillery shells. The attacks were reported in Barzeh, al-Qaboon and Tishreen neighborhoods. Many civilians were gravely wounded amid calls for blood donation.

Video footage was published on line from al-Qaboon. It showed medics and volunteers in the makeshift hospital receiving casualties. They were unable to cope with waves of civilians amid sharp shortages of medicine and medical equipment.

Activists reported the death of three civilians and dozens critically injured, including women and children, as Assad terrorists targeted the residential areas of these neighborhoods using surface-to-surface (Fiel) missiles.

The Syria Civil Defense teams rushed to recover the bodies from under the rubble and transport the injured to the nearest medical points.

As the injured poured into al-Rajja hospital in Barzeh neighborhood, its management sent out urgent calls for blood donations, specifically those with blood type B+.

A woman was reported dead and several civilians injured after Assad terrorists fired bullets at Tishreen neighborhood from the Tishreen Military Hospital in which they are stationed. Meanwhile, Assad terrorists shelled the land farms located between the neighborhoods of Barzeh and Tishreen.

The Assad regime’s military escalation comes in light of its failure in recent weeks to break into the cities and towns of eastern Ghouta, suffering great losses in lives and materiel.
