Wadi Barada: Assad terrorists demolish houses, arrest civilians
Assad terrorists continue breach the agreement reached with locals of Wadi Barada in Damascus western countryside by demolishing houses and arresting innocent civilians.

The Media Committee of Wadi Barada said on Sunday that Assad terrorists continue to demolish houses in the surrounding areas of Ein al-Fijeh drinking water facility, in Ein al-Fijeh town.

Assad terrorists also started to arrest locals, including men and women, inside Wadi Barada or on the surrounding checkpoints.

Assad and Hezbollah terrorists controlled Wadi Barada valley after reaching an agreement with local opposition fighters and civilians on January 29. The agreement stipulated the displacement of opposition fighters in Wadi Barada with their families, as Assad terrorists seize the area. According to that, 2100 people, were displaced and left in buses, including injury cases, heading to Idilb in the north.

Soon after seizing control over Wadi Barada, Assad terrorists started looting civilians’ houses.

The Wadi Barada valley, located 18 kilometers northwest of Damascus, witnessed heavy bombing and artillery shelling campaign, by Hezbollah and Assad terrorists, which started late December, 2016 and continued for some 40 days. The attacks killed many civilians and caused widespread damage to property, including the vital Ein al-Fijeh spring facility that provides over four million people in Damascus and its countryside with water.
