Turkey: Int’l conference for Syrian education announced in ‎February
Under the auspices of Turkish Ministry of Education, the ‎International Conference for Syrian Education “Pre-‎University Education” (ICSE) has been announced to be held in Istanbul ‎at the 18th and 19th of February  2017. ‎

The conference aims at simplifying difficulties facing ‎Syrian educational system. It is also held to suggest the best ‎ways for dealing with neighbouring countries to educate ‎Syrian students.‎

‎This conference, that is sponsored and organized by charity ‎organizations, EID, OICHF and IHH, has many aims, ‎including:‎

- Improving the educational system for Syrian students.

- ‎Financially and morally supporting the teaching staff inside ‎Syria and the host countries.

- Identifying efficient and alternative ways to offer pre-‎university education for the students who currently drop ‎out of schools.  ‎

- Developing e-learning education and applying it inside ‎Syria and the host countries. ‎

- Initiating and supporting programs in TVET (Technical ‎Vocational Education and Training).‎

The First day of the conference is for workshops that ‎include presenting research papers and discussing different ‎issues related to educating pre-university Syrian ‎students. Researchers of these papers are specialized in ‎education. The second day of the conference is for ‎announcing suggestions that resulting from ‎the conference. ‎

One hundred volunteers, in six months, have been ‎participating in preparing this event. They are ‎mostly Syrian academicians specialized in different fields.‎
