On Sunday morning, the Wadi Barada media office said: “Assad warplanes conducted the heaviest airstrikes on Wadi Barada’s Ain al-Fijeh. They also shelled the town with heavy artillery and mortar bombs. Napalm shells were also used by the terrorists on residential areas. But opposition fighters fought back, resisting the ferocious attempts of progress. They destroyed two Assad tanks on the axis of of the southern gate of Ain al-Fijeh. No progress was made by the invaders.”
“A number of Hezbollah terrorists tried to infiltrate into the one of the buildings in Ein al-Fijeh, but the opposition fighters beat them back. The Lebanese terrorists were seen running in flight showing their backs,” a media activist told Orient Net on condition of anonymity.
It is worthy to note that people of Wadi Barada are living in dire conditions amid acute shortages of food, medicine and heating materials. Hezbollah and Assad terrorists target any moving body outside the besieged city.
