Erdogan: Turkey determined to fight ISIS, PYD in Syria
Turkey will continue the operation to seize the city of al-Bab from ISIS and is determined to combat the YPG militia in northern Syria, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday.

Speaking at a meeting with local officials in Ankara, Erdogan said Turkey was determined to eliminate all threats wherever come from.

Meanwhile, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said the United States’ stance regarding Operation Euphrates Shield started to be more positive recently.

Erdogan has recently said that the operation to take the city of al-Bab would be finished soon. He added the operation liberated more than 2,000 kilometers from ISIS control in northern Syria.

On 24 August, Turkey-backed FSA factions started Operation Euphrates Shield in northern Syria and have since liberated the cities of Jarablus and al-Raei in addition to dozens of villages in Aleppo countryside. FSA fighters have been advancing towards al-Bab and are now on the outskirts of the city.
